Need Health Coverage?

Maine's Marketplace

If you or someone in your household needs health insurance, you may be able to find coverage options through Maine's Marketplace CoverME.gov. Maine's Marketplace at CoverME.gov is the place Mainers shop for comprehensive, affordable health coverage plans. These plans must provide essential benefits required by the Affordable Care Act, including prescription drugs, hospital care, laboratory services, maternity care, and more.

  • Marketplace annual open enrollment period is November 1st through January 15th.
  • Some people can enroll at other times of the year but only if they have a qualifying life event (QLE) that makes them eligible for a Special Enrollment Period (SEP).
  • This flyer has helpful tips to make your enrollment easier and this video can help you use the Plan Compare Tool.

Need help? The advocates at Consumers for Affordable Health Care can be your CoverME.gov experts! Log into your CoverME.gov account and choose "Assign an Expert", then enter "Consumers for Affordable Health Care" (not a specific name) or follow these instructions
