CAHC is the only organization in Maine providing free and comprehensive assistance to Mainers who need help navigating public and private health insurance. Consumers can get help accessing health care, work with enrollment professionals, and get answers to questions about coverage options, enrollment processes, benefits, challenging denied claims, and managing medical debt.
CAHC has been designated by Maine's Attorney General as Maine's Consumer Assistance Program (CAP). CAHC also serves as Maine’s Medicaid Ombudsman Program.
