Consumers for Affordable Health Care (CAHC) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization with a mission to advocate the right to quality, affordable health care for every Maine person. CAHC is designated as Maine’s Health Insurance Consumer Assistance Program. We are funded through grants and contracts. CAHC is not an insurance company or state agency.

Our Consumer Assistance Program operates a statewide, toll-free HelpLine that handles thousands of calls each year from Mainers who need assistance finding or using quality, affordable health coverage. How can we help you?
