are many ways for you to get involved and support quality,
affordable health care for every man, woman, and child.
Sometimes
opportunities to get involved and make a difference happen
very quickly, so Staying Informed
and connected is important. But here are some great ideas
that are always helpful:
- Become
a Member of the Coalition, Maine’s
largest consumer coalition, representing thousands
of Maine people, businesses, and organizations concerned
about out-of-control costs and disappearing benefits.
- Join
"Maine Voices for Coverage" to
help us all get the quality affordable health care
and coverage we deserve!
- Tips
for the Citizen Lobbyist,
a guide for effectively "lobbying" your
legislative representatives.
- Share
your health care story.
Lawmakers and the media need to see what the problems
really are before they can be fixed. They need to
hear from real people, not just lobbyists, about the
real problems that we are facing.
- Volunteer
your time and talents for a good cause.
- Attend
important events
to support quality, affordable health care for all.
Most events happen during or around the legislative
session.
