Dear Jaime,
Earlier
this month the Senate Finance Committee released a
policy proposal for
expanding health care coverage. The paper resulted
from the Committee's second roundtable discussion
on health reform, held May 5, which focused on
expanding health coverage. You can find a
summary from Community Catalyst's on the
Committee's paper here.
You can also contact other Senators not on the Finance Committee and ask them
to convey your praise and concerns to the Finance
Committee Members.
The
Committee reconvenes on Thursday, May 21st to
continue to discuss coverage issues. We want
Committee Members to promote issues that matter to

Strengthening public programs by
simplifying enrollment, increasing provider
rates, enhancing quality of care provisions, and
including Early Prevention Screening and
Diagnosis Tools (EPSDT) in CHIP;
